I think its a mistake. The gane has gone from being a unique "Slice up anything in sight" to a Ninja Gaiden clone, and there are plenty of those already.
If the Zan Daitsu concept wasnt working then they should have canned it because reskinning a hack n slash game as Metal Gear just looks like milking to me.

Why would it be better ? The physical mic inside Kinect isnt anything special and the voice recognition aspect is completely software based and so would work just as well with any mic.

The voice activated features in themselves are cool but you do not require Kinect to do them, any heasdset would work just as well and be a lot cheaper.

Looks fine to me, its never been touted as a visual powerhouse and has always been about a fluid multiplayer experience.
Cannot wait for this to be released on PS3.

Any webcam with a built in mic would be just as good for Skype and voice searching.
Unless the device its plugged into is going to make use of its full body tracking then using kinect is just a ridiculously over-engineered solution.

When I first bought a PS3 then Call of Duty 4 was my favourite game and I would have rated it close to 10/10.
Its not just that the sequels haven’t improved on COD4, in my opinion they have actually made it worse with ridiculous perks/killstreaks and game breaking glitches. On top of that most of them have launched with broken multiplayer lobbies or some other flaw that prevented me from enjoying it straight out of the box – even though it is built on the EXACT same engine ...

Just so you know the scientits who network all the PS3's are still able to use other OS since they didnt have to update the firmware which removed the feature.
Remember these machines are set up as pure number crunchers, they dont all log in to PSN to play Modern Warfare.

I think your in denial if you dont think that the PS3 which has closed an 8 million unit lead down to 2 million cant close that final gap - seriously what makes you think thats so impossible when year on year they Sony sells more consoles than MS ?
